Englewood, FL Family YMCA Sprint on Saturday.  1/4 mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, 13 mile bike and 5K run.  Fun local race.

It's my first HIM also and I came down with a cold Monday!! Still don't feel great am hoping to still be able to finish close to my goal time. Not sure how realistic that is with a sore throat and a cough!

When your 16 year old texts you at 2:30 in the morning it's rarely good....but in this case he was getting ready to run his leg of a 5K X 100 relay in a quest for the world record.  He was tired from training and not sleeping but still managed to cruise a 16:02......just got a call that they have obliterated the WR.  Fun stuff!!

Congrats to all on what looks like a great weekend of racing!
