Good morning BT!

5:00am:  40 min run with "speed" intervals (speedy for me!) followed by 30 mins upper body strength

7:00am:  heading out on the mountain bike to chase CC kids

Later:  pool time!

Have a great day!

Morning!

5:15am - 60 min spin - alternating steady state with intervals and finished with a tabata set - ouch!

7am - 3 mile run while the kiddos rode their bikes. I tried to keep up with them today - so was speedier than usual. Can't figure out why I could barely make it through a moderate 6 mile run yesterday, but todays run felt ok, even when I was pushing a bit more. (sigh)

that's it...a bit sunburned from my last 2 days of swimming so giving my skin a break today.

Have a great day everyone!

4:30 hour on the trainer

Strength training tonight.

Yesterday my legs were junk so no running in the AM but my swim last night was longest and most comfortable this year (even though it was still a short ladder).

5:15am attempted my 28:00 continuous run... and failed. Made it 2 miles and I had to stop due to a wardrobe failure. My running shorts have developed a hole and for a guy with rather large upper legs... Well let's just say that it was uncomfortable and leave it at that.

Planning an extra bike this evening, we'll see how that flies with the wife

4hours 30 min on the trainer? You are my hero!

I know many people on this forum do long trainer rides, but wow, still impressive!

Sounds like folks are working hard at it. Got in about 30min of swimming including some 50s, 100s and 25s, strength training, and an easy 40 min on the bike. Got a bit of a pull in the left upper leg so hoping that will allow me to start running again a bit tomorrow.

Dragged my butt out of bed for a 6 mile run at 4:40 am. Almost turned the alarm off, but went back and forth long enough that I was too awake, lol. Supposed to be 7 miles, but nature called...and I had to bail early. Out of town friends stopped by this afternoon, and I'm on toddler duty while hubby is at a class tonight, so that was it for the day. Now we're watching a movie in the big bed - very important training, lol.

No early mornings here! Headed out to run on Pre's Trail at 10 AM but Mom's bike (she was going to bike nearby trail at the same time) got a flat, so ended up going back to get $, getting bike fixed, etc., she then decided not to ride, I went to another trail closer to home. Finally got going around 11 AM for 54 minute run including 10 X 1 minute pickups to something approximating 5K race effort. Still not feeling 100% after last week's Hawaii OWS wipeout (bruised ribs) but at least I can now run normally without it being unduly painful. (Couldn't do that last week.) Help--race on Saturday!
