Subject: Want to ride your bike in a balloon
I coordinate a bicycle race that starts by flying in a hot air balloon (with your bike bungee corded to the outside of the basket) - the balloon lands then you race your bike back to the fair.

There is a $200 fundraising min, BUT I have 2 pilots that have JUST offered to fly a bicyclist (and their bike). I'll let you race for what you feel is a reasonable donation (its a tax deduction) but I have to know ASAP!

I am in the market for a new road bike, at several local bike stores I will test ride several bikes. Other than basic fit and components, how should I compare them while doing a test ride?

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?

Two years ago I weighed in at a hefty 280 lbs and was a mess. Now I'm a lean 180 lbs and train daily. What a difference healthy eating, exercise, and self discipline can make!

Generally I bike for 1.5-2 hours, and by time I'm on my way home I'm shaky. When I get home I usually have a headache and am nauseated. What should I eat before or during my workout to prevent this?

Riding Zen means nothing more than being keenly aware of your surroundings and in control of your emotional state at all times. It also means riding safe and riding smart.

Over this next month I will be learning more about my bike each time I take it out to ride. I want to take full advantage of what it has to offer.
