Winding Trails
Total Time = 00m
Overall Rank = /139
Age Group = f4044
Age Group Rank = 0/7
Pre-race routine:

I did the relay - my tib tendon is acting up and I didn't want to do the trail run so I swam and biked. My ranks are estimated based on my segment times from official results.
Event warmup:

went right from the office this week. URGH I'd rather go from home but whatever.

It's nearly AUGUST and it's freakin FREEZING! I was shivering after my warm up. Temps low 70s.
Swim
  • 10m 56s
  • 400 yards
  • 02m 44s / 100 yards
Comments:

I seem to be doing much better in the mental department on my swims. I didn't even freak out when I got punched at the turn buoy. My instinct is to kind of.......push back so I'm sorry to the person I may or may not have hit back :p I'll work on that!
Transition 1
  • 00m
Bike
  • 25m 10s
  • 5 miles
  • 11.92 mile/hr
Comments:

I got into a debate with a slow guy in front of me - he told me I had to wait a second to pass because it was too narrow. I asked him if he made that rule up. And then I passed him.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Run
  • 00m
  • 3.1 miles

Way to be scrappy, Randee!!  Cold, punches, slow riders - none of 'em phased you a bit.  Great job!!

Funny, I first read that as the buoy doing the punching! Ha!

Anyway, way to defend your "turf" in the water and on the bike!!!!!!!!

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?
