2013 Ford Edge.  It has lots of room for my toys and dog and my bike can easily fit inside, but I use a hitch.  It gets not bad gas mileage and is a comfortable ride.

I have a Hyundai Accent (in Oregon). Sturdy little car (it survived a rear-end collision with a much larger vehicle with barely any damage), great gas mileage. My bike fits in if I remove the front wheel and put the back seat down; it will fit without doing so but not with a passenger in front. For an actual triathlon here in the US, I borrow my parents' Subaru Forrester.

In Saigon, my commuter bike (a local brand called a Martin), whatever taxi is nearby, or what Vietnamese call "Bus #11" (feet).

LOVE my '04 Land Cruiser. Quiet, smooth, comfy, and can go about anywhere we want.  With two young...and growing...and active kids, plus a husband who likes the sand/rocks/dirt, this is a great vehicle. Take out the 3rd row seats and bags/bikes fit (front wheel off).

I need to buy a new car. Had Honda Element that was a great lifestyle/Triathlon car, but a few weeks ago was rear ended and that totaled the Element. Kinda looking at Volvo XC90, Cadillac Escalade ESV and CTS wagons, along with Yukon Denali XL. Leaning CTS wagon if I can find a good deal on a used one. We used to have an Audi S4 wagon and I like that style car.

2012 MINI Countryman S with their bike rack that attaches to the rear bumper. I picked this over other choices because of the bike rack.
Added bonus: it handles like a go cart. The wife has threatened me for driving it too fast on twisty roads. Its just too much fun on roads with curves.

2015 Honda Fit.
Holds 2 bikes, a medium sized suitcase, 2 transition bags and 2 people while getting 47-48 mpg highway. I tinted the windows as dark as possible so when we travel with the bikes they can't be easily seen.

2005 Toyota Matrix.  Tons of room in the back with the seats lying flat.  No trouble getting one bike in without taking any wheels off and I can strategically stack two with the front wheels off.

Honda Pilot & BMW 325 Convertible.

I would never put a hitch or rack on my BMW, but I have to say yours doesn't look nearly as out of place as I would have expected it to and when loaded it looks a whole lot better than the towels and a bike sticking up out of the back seat I get when I can't use the Pilot.

1999 Ford F-150 Pickup, Why? It's paid for and I would much rather spend my money on this sport, hunting, and fishing. The other thing is that my wife always has a newer vehicle, so it's always there for the longer trips.

1987 BMW 635csi. I rarely drive though. If I need to drive my bike somewhere (I can ride to a lot of races and all training around here), then I can take both wheels off of my bike and fit it in the trunk of my car. Even my mountain bike. I ride my bike to work and walk to most other places that I need to get to, so I only end up driving once a month though.

I had a Volvo XC90 and it was a great utility vehicle.  Road nice, got good mileage, never had a major mechanical issue, plenty of cargo space for this type of vehicle.  I think the CTS's cargo space is a bit limited.  Was looking at a CTS-V but went with a Porsche Cayenne instead.  Cargo space is smaller than the XC90 but the Cayenne's interior quality and gadgetry is amazing.  Mileage is OK but it is extremely fast and handles very well.

2012 FR-S, 24mpg no matter how hard you drive. Seats in the back for the little kids, and an electric supercharger too.

I'd like to see pics of kids in car seats in the back of an FR-S!

I think I'm the third poster with a Suburban. Love it. We've had five 29" mountain bikes, five people, and all of our gear all inside of it. Also had five people, XC skis, and gear all inside and protected from the elements. With the third row, we've had four adults and three kids along with a weekend of camping gear in it, with a couple coolers on a hitch mounted luggage rack. Amazing in bad weather.

Wife's car is a 2011 Outback. Great little SUV, but for road trips with any sort of gear requirements, the Suburban gets loaded up.

Pretty hard to the beat the Suburban for hauling capacity.  My neighbor has one and when he gets it loaded up with bikes, kayaks, camp trailer it looks like quite the recreational assualt vehicle.

Daughter is in a simple booster now, boy is in the bigger seat. Only real hassle is the drivers seat recline/folder has no memory of where it was.

Awesome. My 3.5 year old daughter can kick the back of my seat in the Suburban, I think she'd have a field day in an FR-S. Though, if I had my way, I would keep the Suburban and add a frisbee to the fleet as my summer fun car! I'm a Suby guy--owned a WRX, put my wife in the Outback and a Legacy wagon before that, and my Suburban replaced an '05 Legacy GT wagon--5MT of course.

You're doing it wrong.  We fold the middle seats down and the kids sit in the third row.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.
