Just placed my order for Order #14. The anticipation of the countdown to order was worse than the start of of race, Heart beating, palms sweating, watching the countdown clock. Was pretty cool. Got exactly what I wanted 60 Front/ 90 Rear processed in less than a minute.

Now the anticipation waiting for them starts. I know the Flo sales process is a pain but from talking to users at recent races it sounds like the best carbon deal out there. Good luck to anyone else that tried to order!

I am thinking about snatching some up.

That being said would you rather take a new Zipp 60 vs new Flo 60 if price were the same?

Not sure as I never looked too close at the Zipp 60. Seems similar in design from what I can tell. I like the flo story and was looking at 60/90 combo so jumped on it. I went up to random people at my last race and everyone I talked to said they loved them. Plus I know a couple people running them that really like them. Sound like you can put them on and leave them on to train and race which I like. Also with the aluminum rim no changing breakpads. I'm sure full carbon is faster but for a middle of the road Ag'r I was looking for convenience as well.

My back wheel needs to be trued up. It has a slight side-to-side wobble, and I feel at times like I'm going to lose control when I ride. Is this something that I should only trust to my LBS to do?

The wheels are my first area of concern and I have started to shop around. I find it nauseating to think of spending the same amount for wheels as my bike. Any help?

Don't know how to take that rear wheel off of your bike? Is the chain making things difficult? Learn how to remove your rear wheel if you have to change your bike tire or fix a flat.

Being a fast swimmer put me up with the faster athletes. As expected, they started to pass me soon out of transition. Some would just slowly pass. Others with aero wheels would literally buzz by.

This article estimates how much time can be saved in sprint races by converting from stock aero wheels found on most tri bikes to more aero disk and composite spoked wheels.
