Rude & dangerous truck driving

Lemme guess, "Well, you should have gotten out of his way or he wouldn't have had to honk at you."  Or something like that, maybe not in so nice of terms.  Some people.

Wait, were you riding two abreast, not in a bike lane or on the shoulder and with cars parked along the shoulder?  In that case, you must have deserved it.

x2 my guess would be that as well for a larger company. But since it's here on BT I might switch my stance!

I sent an email once because I was buzzed by a truck emblazoned by a candidate running for office. The guy himself emailed me back, super apologetic, for his volunteer who was putting out campaign signs. He even threw in that he was an avid cyclist and was looking at ways to make our community more bike friendly. That was an interesting turn.

Agreed, not that I don't already have a pretty good indication.

1) We were riding single file

2) It is a one or two man operation

3) I discovered that there truly are bad people in the world, who would rather endanger someone's life than be inconvenienced by 10-30 seconds.

You just found that out?  It doesn't have anything to do with cycling.....some people are just azzholes.

I have managed to surround myself with happy, intelligent people who care about each other.  And I ride a unicorn to work and get paid $1M/year to play with puppies.
