I am trying to decide on bike mount for my 310, the bike mount kit or the quick release? What are peoples thoughts on the QR? Is it bulky? the bike kit is it a pain to use? Some feedback would be great.

I switched to the QR (90-degree twist to lock it into place) about two years ago. Have the band for running, but seperate mounts on my tri bike and road bike that "rubber band" the holder in place.

Road bike is mounted on my stem. For the tri bike, my between the bars bottle set-up takes too much room, so I mounted it on the base bar near the bull-horns. You may need to be creative to fiind a good mounting location, but there are lots of alternatives.

Since making the switch, I've had two significant crashes.....one on each bike. In both cases the 310 stayed in palce with no problems. I would rate the bike mounting as very secure. It takes about 1-second to put the head unit in place or remove it. It's very quick and easy.

Same quarter-turn is used on the watch band. The mount does make the unit stick out a little further on your wrist than the normal band. This feels "different" at first and take a time or two to get used to. I don't notice it at all now.

All in all, I give the QR an A-.

Thanks, I was leaning QR, I don't wear a wet suit so it would be wrist to bike back to wrist.

I've heard good things about the QR system and jealous my TGT doesn't have that option. Take a look at DCrainmakers website, he has a how-to on mounting the watch on your aero bars (it's something I'll look into doing when I get my next bike/watch).

QR makes even more sense if you do wear a wet-suit.
You can quickly take it off your wrist mount and hold it in your hand until you get the wet-suit off that arm

Definitely go with the QR.

QR works great. For races I don't wear it during the swim for fear of getting it kicked off and in the water I don't look at it for pace. I leave it on the bike and then remove and use for the run

The ISM Adamo Racing Saddle is difficult to define. It doesn’t look like a bicycle saddle. It doesn’t mount like a bicycle saddle. And yet, it does feel like a bicycle saddle.
