Good morning BT!

4:30 Active OFF day.  Went for a 60 minute walk while listening to a podcast. Relaxing way to wake up!

Have a great day!

AM 50 minutes of trainer fun ( supposed to be 55 but lost time owing to technical difficulties involving YouTube video and my cat's tail!)

PM 2800m of swimming. Had the whole pool to myself the entire time, which was really fun. It will change in Sept. as they are planning to start a year -round youth program. Unclear if I will be paying to be coached/swim with older kids or possibly a few other masters, have a lane to myself for free, or be sharing one lane with any faculty who show up to swim/play/water jog, etc. This has the potential to be very good (lane to myself, coach?) or a disaster (final scenario, will probably result in mass injuries and minimal training.)

Stopped at the beach on the way to work and ran from powerhouse park up the rail trail to San Elijo then up the lagoon trail to the Mira Costa Levee and back. I kicked at Seaside Reef and ran the last 4 miles at marathon pace. then joined the CAF folks for a trip out to the 17th st buoy. (10 mile run, 1000 meter swim)

Legs felt a bit bockety in the first mile or two then I found my wheels.

No lunch workout today, just recovery time for "Delirium Friday" :D

Took an hour hike with a friend (our weekly "solve the world's problems" walk. Did about 20 miles on the bike. After about 20 min warming up did 5X 2min intervals w/ 2 min rest. Then a handful of short accelerations and one quick short hill before cooling down.

"Relaxing way to wake up". Mine is turning on the TV and slowly regain consciousness!

3.5 mi run in the FL morning humidity and warmth, the morning & evening winds of the past few days due to the Hurricane off shore and High pressure to the north is gone .  So cannot wait for fall to roll in.

Hopefully I can get home in time for a swim or bike.  I now have to be careful biking in the garage as Mosquitoes with West Nile have been trapped in our county.

Crazy busy day today. Fell behind on fueling and got a nasty headache from it!

5:15am - 60 min power spin
7:30 am - bike with kids to school
then biked to gym to teach a class - no one showed. So ran 3 miles

Some ST, then biked back to school for 2.5 hour volunteer shift, then bike home. At this point I'm STARVING
I need to get better about packing food, but I have a VERY finicky stomach so have to be careful!

I"m ready for the heat to go away as well here in AZ! At least the mornings and nights are a little better!!

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
