Subject: Starting Over Again
Hi, I am starting over again from scratch. In 2007 & 2008 I used BT to get through 3 sprint triathlons and a du. I eventually stopped and went back to smoking a pack a day and drinking way too much. I am sober now (3 years) and ready to give it another shot. I quit smoking too 2 years ago but I picked up vaping instead. I am hoping that will fall by the wayside once I start running. I am 39 now not getting any younger so I figure I need to make a serious commitment to a lifestyle change. I am about 50 lbs overweight and I get out of breath just putting my socks on so I am at a great place to start. LOL. I signed up for a sprint duathlon in December and I am going to modify the Couch to Tri plan with a greater emphasis on running. I have to get an all clear from the doctor but I know this is what I need. I felt so good when I was healthy last time. I am ready for this. This site served me well in the past and I will log start logging my nutrition and training right away. I got an email for the 50% off promotion and I decided to take advantage of it. I am ready for my life to change. The thing is I am the only one who can change it. I am ready for this. take care! Mike

Does it matter how fast you go? Does it matter if you win? No. It only matters that you tri your best and smile when you cross the finish line.
