I know we have some racers today...goooood luck!

Good morning!

4:15am:  1:50 on the KK, felt amazing

6:00am:  15 minute run, also felt amazing!

Heading up to Park City, UT for a last family getaway before the real craziness of the school year and sports begin! Taking my running stuff of course--hoping for a gorgeous long run in the mountains tomorrow morning.

Have a great day!

Sigh. I haven't felt amazing for a long time. These days am happy if nothing hurts and don't feel like I'm ripping my legs away from gravity with every step. Just having a hard time getting back into the routine of training and being on my feet all day at work. At least we have a 4-day weekend now for Vietnamese national day.

AM 90 minute "long run". Nice and cool for once due to lots of rain over past few days.
PM 3000m of swimming. Actually felt good in the pool for the first time since getting back to it after break earlier this month.

Envy your mountain run. Nothing but flat pavement here, unless you count the school soccer fields.

All your time zone travel would have messed me up big time!  It would take me a while just to recover from that!

Hey there!

51 mile ride - FIRST RIDE OUTSIDE on the road in over 3 MONTHS - YIPPEE!!

We are up in Flagstaff (7,000 ft elevation) and I HAD to get out to ride! Taking advantage of the cool weather!
Got the bike tuned up and have brand new tires (Gatorskins) to prevent any more blowouts. Took a while to get my road legs back (especially at altitude) and get used to the different tires, and while I didn't feel amazing, it felt great to be out again!

After spending between 2-3 hours on the trainer every weekend, being outside was a nice change. Just getting my confidence back again..slowly but surely!

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Biked 65 miles today. Stopped for lunch at home, and decided to change into a new shirt/shorts for the rest of the ride. Temps weren't too hot (82) for VA, but enough to get pretty sticky.

Feeling confident and cocky, after finally losing some weight, I got off my back side and into triathlon.
