Subject: Name says it all! I am a newbie!
Hello everyone. I have had an interest in trying a triathlon and I feel now is a time to start training for one. I don't have a date or race in mind yet. I ran last night for the first time in..... I don't know how long. I lift weights regularly. I used to swim competitively as a kid but have not swam in years. I mountain bike for fun and to get my adrenaline fix. I hope to get some tips and education on triathlons and training. Look forward to talking and hopefully meeting some of you at a future race!

Hi Joe, and welcome to BT!

Lots of good folks here to answer your questions and you can pick up a lot of good information just following the discussions on the various forums.
