need orthopedic MD resources in Raleigh

Hi all,
My year of racing had come to a screeching halt this spring with my husband hospitalized for weeks on end. Long story short, he is better and back to about 75%. BUT, during those months of his illness and rehab, my training was next to nothing and thus, my joints are much weaker. I have significant OA in my R hip and have been evaluated by an "expert" orthopedist in WinstonSalem-He said to expect a total hip in less than 2 years. That was a year ago. I need a great hip MD that doesn't laugh at me wanting to run a bit and can giv e me options other than a hip replacement-I am 55 and female so hip resurfacing doesn't seem to be an option but I am open to that as well. The current MD doesn't have anything to offer except Mobic and sent me back to 1* MD.
Any great ortho recommendations out there in NC? I want a respectful MD that shares my goal of getting back in some kind of shape.
