Hence the zombie apocalypse thread. If it was an actual coffee shop, it would be out of business. Everyone must be busy.

I would be curious to the overall site post count in recent months compared to historical averages.  Seems like a lot of other once popular sections of the site have been much quieter.

I joined in late 2006.  I know it slows every summer but I can't recall it ever being THIS slow...

I think there is a tremendous amount of traffic in the Mentor threads.  Seems as if quite a bit has moved there.  At least that's what it looks like.

I'm in here everyday lurking but have nothing constructive to add. I suppose that means I should be looking at the TAN threads.

I agree, I think the mentor threads have done a lot of damage to CoJ and TT.

But be careful where you say that, those who choose to stick to the mentor threads will defend them to the death.

If you give people a chance to be part of a smaller group, or clique, most will take it......it's just human nature.  Others will want no part of something like that.

To each their own.

Ohio is the only state that doesn't contain any of the letters in the word "mackerel".

Tonight kicks of Beer Week here.  All of these breweries are within walking distance of my house and all brew a great beer.

"The third annual Bellingham Beer Week will take place in Bellingham, Washington, from Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 21. All five Bellingham craft breweries—Chuckanut, Boundary Bay, Kulshan, Aslan, and Wander—plus many regional breweries, numerous beer bars, beer stores, restaurants, and other businesses will be hosting beer-related events throughout the city."

Other than this, I will try to get in some s/b/r as limited sobriety permits.

It was a perfect weekend.  The weather here is amazing now.  It is hard to say one is any better than the other but there is something for every taste.  I am partial to Chuckanut Brewery because they just a few blocks from my house but they did have a special malt ale they brewed for the weekend and it was great.  Did get in a trail ride, a couple of trail runs and a nice long swim in the lake.  It is a little slice of heaven around here now.

I was waiting for the picture to load, and I thought you may have found a corner store that sells pizza, melons and flowers.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.
