Hey all,

Haven't seen too many of you at events, so maybe we need to set up a ride or run or something??  I can free up my schedule fairly easily, often with late notice.    Here comes fall!  What's everyone got on their agendas?  I have Beat the Blerch half on 9/20, cyclocross racing, and whatever else strikes my fancy.  Just finished the MS 150.

I'm hosting the ride to Snoqualmie Pass on 9/20 (mostly on gravel) -- https://www.facebook.com/events/649679721794059/?ref=2&ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming

And I'm going to Portland for the Handmade Bike and Beer Festival on 9/27 -- https://www.facebook.com/pages/Handmade-Bike-and-Beer-Festival/783266291726252

After that I'm fairly open.

Would love a BT get together.

I'll be back east last two weeks of September then Leavenworth Marathon October 4th.  First cyclocross race for us is Woolley Cross last week of October.  Nothing else fixed on the calendar.

Something on a trail would be good. That way can bring little one in BOB or Burley...

But I am way to slow for you guys anyway...but I could act like I'm riding along!!

I might be at the bike fest in Portland that Sunday....maybe....busy weekend but that is on my radar.

Weekends are a bit hectic until mid-October....I'd love to ride to the pass but have a half mary that day.

We'll figure something out!

I want to know about Wooly Cross too!  Went to Starcrossed yesterday--didn't race but I definitely podium'd in the beer garden.

Clearly I am a little behind BUT if anyone wants to come down and join for part or ALL of a long run on the Iron Horse trail, let me know! Really, most Sundays work (except Nov 2 and Nov 23.)

The Iron Horse is off of I90 and was an old rail line (If you didn't know) which means the grade is gentle and is stroller friendly.

Should I be working on getting faster at running by doing the longer distances and working up slowly over time or run faster for shorter distances now?

Two years ago I weighed in at a hefty 280 lbs and was a mess. Now I'm a lean 180 lbs and train daily. What a difference healthy eating, exercise, and self discipline can make!
