Subject: New and training for a tri.
Hi,

My name is tom and I'm 45 yo and I did my first tri sprint in Chicopee, MA in August. I just did it for a bucket list thing. Well to my surprise I really enjoyed it and want to do another, but this time I want to train properly. So I found this forum, and I'm hoping to pick up some tips and tricks of the trade. My first question is where can I get a legit tri wet suit in western mass...lol.
My next tri is going to be in June in Westfield at Hampton Ponds.

Thanks for having me.

Tom

Tom,

Welcome to the site...and the addiction.  Did you wear a wetsuit for your first tri?  If so, what kind and how did it feel?

Already a cyclist and not a bad swimmer, I figured all I had to do was build up to running a few miles and I’d be ready to go. The challenge invigorated me, and I ran out to buy new running shoes.
