Total Time = 1h 33m 39s
Overall Rank = 129/260
Age Group = M4044
Age Group Rank = 18/32
Pre-race routine:

Normal.
Event warmup:

Nothing. Nothing at all. No jogging, no biking, didn't even jump in the water until my wave started.
Swim
  • 14m 40s
  • 880 yards
  • 01m 40s / 100 yards
Comments:

Pretty good swim. Some contact, nothing major, plenty of room, good sighting. Only part I should have done differently is antifog goggles (fogged up about halfway).
Transition 1
  • 01m 18s
Comments:

Moderate run uphill, managed to jog the whole time. Felt like shit but kept moving.
Bike
  • 38m 29s
  • 13.5 miles
  • 21.05 mile/hr
Comments:

Still felt fatigued from Muskoka. Ran into a few knots; pushed past them, but couldn't keep that pace. But still a great ride.
Transition 2
  • 01m 4s
Comments:

Feet were a little cold; had trouble getting feet out of bike shoes, felt a little weird running into transition, couldn't get run shoes on quickly. Don't know if it was residual fatigue or cold (air was a little chilly and I was cruising pretty well).
What would you do differently?:

Maybe put on socks when it's that cold.
Run
  • 37m 10s
  • 4 miles
  • 09m 17s  min/mile
Comments:

As usual, passed a lot of people on the bike, and they all passed me on the run. Still, my best run split this year.
Post race
Warm down:

Eat a cheeseburger.

Event comments:

Once again, great season closer. Saw plenty of people I knew, great venue, great activities, all around good time.
