Anyone watching?

Caught the first hour or so last night before I had to finish my homework.  Interesting.  My wife (history major) was fascinated by it.

I watched it last night.  I love history and Burns does such a great job of personalizing it.  I learned a lot of things about them.

I'm watching it.   In my opinion Teddy was the best president outside of Thomas Jefferson.      I can admire FDR as a man, but being libertarian, I don't think highly of his presidency.

Hope to learn more about all three though.

I watched it last night.
I was amazed at how much I knew about TR - having read a few books on him and being a NYer.
The next few shows about the rise of FDR should be interesting.
I don't know why it freaks me to see pics of FDR young, vibrant and walking !

I'll have to catch this one

Ken Burns has "Prohibition" on streaming Netflix

Very interesting history behind that movement and consequences of it.

I've been watching it on the trainer and it's making the time "almost" fly by.

I haven't started watching it yet, I will have to catch up. I am a big FDR fan and didn't know as much, although some very basic stuff we learned in school, about Teddy. I really enjoyed Burns "Dust Bowl." My father was 7 years old living in Western Oklahoma when the Dust Bowl hit really bad and he has some interesting (and terrifying) memories of those days. Luckily my grandparents found a new opportunity and land in NE OK that wasn't destroyed like W OK was. Anyway, I like Ken Burns' work and will catch this.

I have burning hips. They start to hurt about 20 miles into a bike ride and then they hurt as I try to sleep all night long. Stretching and massage don't seem to make much difference.

They are comfortable, but on longer runs the ball of my foot starts to heat up. I actually had to STOP, take off the shoe, massage my foot. This would help for a while, but the pain usually returned.

I read an article that this type of pain comes from straining the neck, especially from riding a road bike. What can you tell me about this type of injury?

Most of us in the triathlon world are concerned with more than just fat burning. There are certain situations when it’s appropriate to use fins during a workout.
