Ramon was a well conditioned athlete, a decent swimmer, plenty of experience and it was just his day to go. So sad. He attended several tri camps that coached at in Puerto Rico and was just a pleasure and a wonderful person.

At least he died doing a sport he loved.

Seize the day, friends. You just never know if it's your time to go.

I'm sorry Suzanne......I had no idea that happened and we were there all day.

As you say, he sure had a hell of a day to go out on!

I had heard a fellow had been taken to hospital. Very sad to hear he didn't‘t make it. University hospital is very close to the swim location.
