Hey everybody, brand new to tris. First race will be a sprint distance on Oct 12th, and I am absolutely stoked.

Background: I was a swimmer in high school and took up parkour during my college years. Add in a few injuries and a largely sedentary grad school life and I am looking to triathlon training to get me back in shape. Admittedly, I initially just wanted to get back into shape, but I've been pretty swept up by the idea of the triathlon. I've heard the first race will get me hooked --I think I already am.
