Back down to 239 this morning. Getting in quite of few work outs and Sunday is the official kick off of my Marathon training. Hopefully that will really kick things in gear with the holidays fast approaching.

Monday weigh in. Down 2 pounds. Now... let's see if I can NOT screw this up. One more pound and I will be below a hurdle that I haven't seen in a number of years.

I'm going to stick it out, but I've come to the realization that 240 is just not going to happen. Diet issues on my part hurt my progress, and now a foot issue is slowing me down as well. I'm still at 257.5 so... 17.5lbs in 5 weeks is just a bit improbable. Let's see what I can do!

I find if I don't gain anything between Nov 1 and Dec 31 - that is a victory for me !!! Do what you can - you will be that much farther ahead Jan 1.
How about 250?

That is a great way to look at it.  I am going to try and go down, but there is so much temptation, and so many opportunities to go hog wild and over eat.

That's how I squeaked through this time last year. Sub-250 by Jan 1 is a much more realistic goal.

This weeks weigh in. No loss no gain. I'll take that as a positive. Been hard to stay on nutrition plan. Family wants bowls of carbs for dinner! Starting to intensify workouts though. Did my bike lactate threshold test yesterday so I can begin training in specific zones. Plan on doing my LT test for the run tomorrow.

257.5 to 256. Down 1.5 on Turkey Week. Not unhappy with that at all. 5 weigh-ins (4 weeks and 1/1) to go and I'm feeling rather optimistic.

11/19/14 - 190.8
11/25/14 - 190.0
12/02/14 - 189.6

Take that Turkey Day!  I definitely overate on Thursday, and drank WAY to much on Friday night.  But I was pretty good the rest of the weekend and made sure that I still got in quality runs.

Turns out my lower reading was just a fluke

I am blaming it on the time of month.

Now to make sure that the downward trend is 1) really happening and 2) continuing.

Happy to see so many people who are "satisfied" with their progress so far. Keep up the good attitudes and the good training.

Me? I joined this thread way back on page 1, October 1st. I was 379.6. Wednesday nights are my official weigh-ins because that's when my WW meeting is. Tonight I am happy to report that I was down 1.8 lbs over the Thanksgiving, and down a total of 10.8 lbs since I joined the thread.. And that's with not being able to work out at all for the last two weeks due to a sprained knee.
