You may want to get a second opinion of there isn't a better way to get that 20 seconds with $2000 than going from a zipp 404FC to zipp disc on the back.

For a mere $10 I can tell you to ditch that straw :-)

Any one element of race day setup is not going to be a huge time savings - but when you put everything together you can certainly make some pretty big improvements (and it doesn't have to be super expensive to save quite a bit of time).

I don't know that it isn't fair - the aero helmet is going to depend on position but often still better than a standard road helmet (even if barely) but the wheels/tires/tubes offer an advantage for all. Whether it is worth it to an individual will of course come down to funds available, goals, etc.

You are right

One of the things I love the most about Chrissie is that I believed she did what she did to provide a "platform" to instigate change

It wasn't for fame or fortune. I think she sincerely wanted to have a positive impact in this world.

This video talks a little about it.

She does take about the fact she had become a "machine" and the fine balance between being fit and being healthy (at around 10min)

I appreciate the work she did with ALS.

Good on you for owning up to your mistake!

I had read the articles on BT, I'd trained, and I thought I had prepared. There were, however, a few things that I didn't internalize despite what I'd been told.
