Is it a boy or a girl? (EDIT, I am assuming boy after re-reading the middle name).

My nephew's name is Carson which I love of course. I am hearing of both boys and girls named Carson.
Cannon is nice, all though I don't love it with a "K", seems a bit too "trying too hard" with both a unique name AND a unique spelling.

And congratulations

Carson.

I'm not much for non-traditional names.  (I've got Oliver,Stella,Charles,Anne-Therese)  Agree Kannon with a K is trying WAY too hard.

Another vote for Carson. Our neighbor just named her baby girl Kannyn - pronounced Cannon. Must be a trendy name.

Don't name him Kaden (I know that is not one of your choices)! My son has 2 boys named Kaden in his 3rd grade class and we have 3 boys named Kaden in 2nd grade relgion class! Funny how names become popular.

i think there was a chapter in freakonomics about how names become popular - I remember I wasn't allowed to name my little sister Lisa or Katie beause there were going to be multiple girls with those names in her elementry school class

Carson, but I would look into what kids names are popular before you make any choices. I know a couple of other Carsons, so it may be currently popular. When we named my son, we didn't know other kids and didn't realize that Ethan was currently the most popular name in the freaking world right now. Every time we go to a playground and I yell for him, 10 kids come running. Also very confusing yelling for him at soccer games.

My boyfriend's son has about 15 friends named Jackson, same issue. The kids and even the parents just call all of them by last name.

With the common name (for my age group) of Mark, I've been going by my last name since at least high school. Even my username here on BT is what I've been going by at work for most of my professional career since there is always at least one other Mark in the office.

Heh, yeah I get that a lot too... but the beer is Molson, with an "o". To no big surprise I tend to spell my name out often... "Mark, with a 'k', Olsen, that's 'en', not 'on'".

C names must have been popular for boys around 2003-04. On my son's 15 player football team-- Cade, Caden, Cadyn, Colton, Cooper, Cole, and Kai. On hockey (13) it was Cade, Cooper, Cooper, Carson, Carson, Colton, and Cal.

my vote is also Carson
