9.27.14 Saturday!

Finished up this classic Eddy bike build last week and took it out for an hour ride this morning! 16 miles. I may have geared it for a classic hard-man, not so much for myself, the hills killed me!

Edited to add: Pedals with clips are SOOO much harder than clipless!! I can't believe I was hesitant to go clipless when I first started cycling!

Congrats on the XC meet! I really miss cross-country, but we hardly even have grass here.....Supposedly going to coach an elementary XC team this December thru Feb. but they will run just 1 km. Probably good as it's too hot!

Continued my "pro" life with 1:50 run (kinda sorta cool for a while since I started in a light drizzle at dawn; unfortunately it cleared up and then got steamy) and later 2500m of swimming until the scuba class hit the pool. Unfortunately instead of recovering like a pro, spent the rest of the afternoon working in my classroom and on online coursework. Plus booked a bike trip to Sri Lanka for Christmas! Yipee!
