If you can swim, aren't afraid of open water, and have the time and willingness to be very consistent in your training there's no reason you can't. The training programs here are very good. Start off with picking one for where you are at (don't worry about the distance it's for, you just need to get consistently training at this point), and then you can get yourself to what the recommended starting points are for the half-iron programs here. |
