i sweat a lot and when i run 10 miles up, my shoes always get wet and squishy because of all the sweat. i'm thinking of using longer socks and using arm sleeves and putting them on my calves.

any advise on how to minimize this? thank you for your time.

not sure there's any way to minimize sweat (although winter is right around the corner).  I think the issue is finding socks that feel good when they're wet.  (Balega's and Swiftwicks work pretty well for me).  That- and finding running shoes that breathe really well.

I actually started running without socks this year and it's taken an extra layer of sweat off my feat for me (I.e. There's not another layer soaking up sweat). I've also added wool socks to my day to day wear in life and they do a great job managing sweat. Be sure to get good wool tho and at a moderate wool percentage. So you could try wool athletic socks is what I'm getting at. Good luck!

i'm not sure wool socks would be suitable here. Today's weather at 5am is 80.5F with 75% humidity. And this is considered cooler weather here.
