Good Morning

Gonna try for a run but not 100% sure Got a bit of a Mild strain in the left calf from swimming yesterday did an all out 100M yesterday to finish off a 2500M straight swim set and I think I put a bit much into it. Will wait to see how it feels by lunch, if not running the will probably head to the gym and spin.

Have a great day all.

Good luck with the XC meet Kim.
Hope that calf feels better asap . . .

It's a gorgeous Fall day here in Western WI. Planning a 60-90 trail hike w/ my wife early afternoon. Latter in the afternoon I'm going to get in an easy, 20-25 mi bike ride with emphasis on smooth, relatively high cadence staying as low as possible for most of the ride.

Morning everyone!

5:15am - 60 min power spin - high cadence efforts with increasing intensity - ouch!

7;15am - 3 mile run while my kids biked along. Stopped at a park on the way home and did some stair work :-)!

Off to the pumpkin patch today with the kiddos - Should be a beautiful day!

Recovery run. At best Zone 3, tapering a bit to be fully recovered for Oct. 26th - 10 day countdown to first tri (high expecations for myself in the Sprint)

Headed out a bit early this morning and bike commuted to work down the coast. (27 Miles)

At lunch I headed out on the trails and ran through the lagoon and down the beach to Flat Rock and jumped in the ocean for a quick swim then headed back to work. (10 Mile Run, 1000 Meter Swim)

After work I have my bike commute back home. (27 Miles)

Legs are feeling great today and I have an over abundance of mojo thanks to the awesome weather we are having this late in the season. Today is 75 Degrees with a nice onshore breeze to keep things cool and the water is 72 degrees and super clear with a 2-4 ft swell running.

Last year at this time I had already given up on the lunchtime aquathons as the water was already well below 60 degrees and the air was in the low to mid 60s. I surely will take full advantage of this opportunity and I hope it lasts.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
