Has anybody used her 16 week training plan? If so what was your thoughts of the plan?

I've done 80% of the workouts in the plan. I can't say enough good things about it! There is variety, strength work, tons of fast swimming, and plenty of drills. The She-Ra workouts are tough. I have lots of other books with swim plans, and this one is the best. If you're time limited, cut down on some of the drills and focus on the main set. Read through the section on drills so you understand them going in (if you're not time limited and want to do the entire workout).

Using a high-volume schedule for many months is not the best tactic. Build speed and skill several months out, and then transition to a high-volume IM plan.
