Subject: Training for Full Marathon
Is it possible to train for a full marathon by only running 3-days a week and 2 cycling days?
I'm signed up for a full marathon in Jan and then I'll do a 70.3 at the end of April..
Any advice would be appreciated..

Seems to me it would depend on your goal. Do you just want to finish, or do you want your best time possible. If the latter, 3 days is not sufficient, imo. You know, the specificity of training thing. The plan I followed had me running 6 days/week, with 1 day off.

The training plan i followed when I ran my first marathon had me running 4 weeks. It was designed for beginners with no specific time goal. I did set a personal time goal and was able to accomplish it. I ran 4 days a week and didn't do any cycling. I think it is possible but wouldn't skip ANY of the long runs each week.
