Looking for a new saddle. I know everyone is different but if you test rid some from the LBS how long did you test ride yours before deciding? How many did you try? Recommendations for around $200?

I test rode mine 1-2 weeks and somewhere between 100-200 miles. It was clear it was so much better.

I knew after the 1st ride it was way better (ISM Race saddle, split nose type).  When my order came in and it was the wrong color (when ISM did colored versions) I got to race on it too, had it a total of 2 weeks.

I changed over to the ISM Prologue and with the extra padding and narrower splits its even more comfortable for me than the old Race model was.

Highly recommend Cobb saddles. Cost under $200 and the best I tested. They have great customer service (talk with actual people) and 90 day return policy. I ride six hours with no issues.

I use Cobb as well - the split nose version - Cobb has a 90 day money back guarantee - I tried noe other before I ended up with the one i'm riding - i think I rode it for about a month and 300 miles (several long rides)

I am in the market for a new road bike, at several local bike stores I will test ride several bikes. Other than basic fit and components, how should I compare them while doing a test ride?

On the long bike rides of 80+ miles I get very strong pain in my toes. I slow down my pace and I might recover, but when I hit the next hill it is back. Could this be some kind of circulation issue?

In this third segment, Colorado Premier Training goes through several bike position tests to improve on rider efficiency. This was accomplished by varying the saddle height and aerobar width.

The most valuable thing you can do for your endurance training is to schedule a weekly 2-4hr long ride from now until the end of time. Simply make this “what you do” every Saturday or Sunday morning.
