I'm happy he was able to get all help he got.
I'm happy that he's 100% better and he can enjoy his family.

Wow, what a great story. With all the sad results when this occurs it's fantastic to see a survivor. Did the Doctor indicate that he had an underlying (blockage) heart condition?

My brother works with the man who ran the Open Water Rescue team that saved him. A diligent skilled crew to say the least.
He had a condition at birth - lived with it his whole life - trained and all - then it acts up at onset of a tri swim, causes arrest - unbelieveable!
