Subject: Wetsuit Question
Hi Everyone,

So I did my first tri with Team in Training and they purchase a wetsuit for you when you complete the race challenge. The wetsuit has a big Team in Training logo on the front. I feel like alot of people have negative feelings about charity racers. So I was wondering if I should purchase a new wetsuit.

Right now the suit is a few years old (roughly 5 years) so I might have to buy a new one due to age but I just haven't done a race that has required a suit since that one.

Just wanted to see what everyone else would do.

Thanks!

If it fits wear it!

Don't worry about what other people think! Race and have fun.

You raised money for a good cause and you're still doing triathlons five years later. I'd say wear it with pride - that's a lot more than a lot of triathletes have done.

BTW I did my first triathlon with Team in Training in 2003.  Yes there has been some negativity associated with TNT, some with good cause and some without good cause. Overall though I don't think you're going to encounter any real negativity directed at you because you're wearing an wetsuit with a TNT logo.

I'm doing my first tri Saturday. It starts at 7 AM and the forecast is calling for a high of 82 (air temp). Do I need to rush out and get a wetsuit?
