Garmin data not transferring

Veteran 405  New York, Connecticut |  Subject: Garmin data not transferringI just did the NYC marathon and went to upload my data and nothing transferring. The watch is properly sync'ed and I see that data in the history of the watch. Any reason why the data is not transferring over to my garmin connect?? |

Master 1779   | Subject: RE: Garmin data not transferring I had the same problem with my Garmin this weekend. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the new update. Turn on Garmin. Hit the reset button and hold (numbers will count down) to save your race. Then start watch again for a few minutes and create a fake file. Turn off the watch. Then turn it back on and try to sync it again. If that doesn't work there is also a way to force the data to send. |

On Garmin's facebook page there's a notice about their system having issues and no one's able to upload. My absolute guess is it has something to do with the time change. Sometimes databases have issues when one side has changed the time and the other has not you get a lot of "file was created in the future" errors. Should shake itself out in a day or so. |

Anyone else not like the new "modern" version of the web page? Give me my nicely formatted spreadsheet style list of activities! At least there is a way to toggle back to the "classic" version. |

I can't stand the new version, even now that it works in Opera. I just delete all after the .com/ and put dashboard/ in there and get the old version back  |

But mine not only wasn't uploading, but when I checked the history on the watch, I had about 30 activities from Sunday around 4pm that supposedly lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to 20 hours each!!! Yikes, I didn't know I do put in a few hundred hours all in 1 day. I deleted them individually, and tried to upload again with no luck. Going to try again tonight as I'd like my 70.3 race files ...... |

The workout from 10/31/2014 was somehow changed to 12/15/2009. This happened for 3-4 workouts in a row. I'm not sure if was a Garmin issue, an issue with my computer, or possibly, operator error. Everything seems to work fine now. |

I absolutely hate how you can not manually upload data.I just did a big ride and I see the data in my history but it will not transfer to Garmin Connect. Even after it says Sync complete. |
