Good morning BT!  Short week for me today--early out Wednesday and off through the weekend--yahoo!

4:15am:  10 min WU/60 minute run

5:30am:  30 minutes plyo strength.  When my brother died we inherited his Weider Cross Bow Advantage--it's pretty cool.  Trying to figure out how to incorporate some of the exercises into my strength stuff.

Have a great day!

Morning! Envy you the short week. We don't get time off here but do have a Thanksgiving feed on Saturday.

My legs' day off--just 3000m of swimming here.

I pad battery is dying and so is mine......time to call it a night! Be careful with that crossbow!

Yep, short week here, only because my kids will be off Thurs and Fri, so trying to balance the training the next 3 days so I'm able to enjoy the holiday!

8am - 1 hour ST with 10 min w/u on elliptical and circuits with 1 mile run in between. Legs are still a bit dodgy from Saturday nights race, so figure I'd give them another day off and sleep in :-)!

9am - 2600yd swim. Met a friend to swim and realized that too much chatting and not enough swimming makes for a LONG set!

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
