Subject: garmin black friday/cyber monday
I am finally going to get a 910!! does anyone know if garmin is going to have any deals coming up so i wouldn't have to pay the $399? I have my fingers crossed they will do another $100 off sale but who knows.

You can make that decision yourself. You basically get live tracking, activity tracking, Bluetooth, and a better battery. I'm still happy with my 910 after a few years. I won't be upgrading until I can get one that has a battery that lasts for a few weeks while using it as a regular watch and training with GPS, but is still small enough to look like a normal watch.

live tracking that requires a cell phone bluetooth connection. i don't know about you but i surely don't race with a cell phone. and as far as training, roadID app does the same thing and is free! butttttttt the 920 looks good.......

I showed my husband the 910XT on REI.com with a bit "HINT HINT, look honey, here is something I would like!"

Not like I need it, I've done fine without it and have a Garmin Forerunner 205 that has lasted for YEARS...but it would be nice to have something new :-)!

As a rule, Garmin doesn't allow any discounts on their latest models.

Did the Lightning deal on Amazon and also decided to get the amazon credit card, taking $70 off $199. I use amazon a lot, so it made sense to get the cc.
