Subject: Hotel recommendations for HITS Lake Havasu
I just signed up for the half (my first). Does anyone have recommendations for an inexpensive hotel? I will be traveling with my husband and our 2 boys (ages 10 and 13). We like to get a suite when possible so we don't all have to sleep in the same room. Also how soon in advance do reservations need to be made for this event? Thanks, all.

I stayed at the Island Suites. It was roomy and really affordable. It's about a 2.5 star hotel but it was clean. I paid around $60

I'm going in 2015 as well!

I am running Boston in April and Ironman Lake Placid is in July. I have been told that it is ambitious to think about doing an IM so close to a marathon due to the recovery time. Any suggestions?
