Freehub Removal

 , Illinois |  Subject: Freehub RemovalI'm not sure this is the right place to post this. If there's a better spot let me know. I have a set of Alex ALX Class 270 wheels and I want to take the freehub off the rear and clean it out and re-lube. I know it doesn't come off as most others, I think I need to use a 13mm hex on the NDS and the bolt is reverse threaded (turned clockwise to loosen). Can anyone confirm this before I start cranking on this thing? |

| , Illinois | Subject: RE: Freehub Removal I thought the reverse threads made sense since it's on the non drive side. If it's standard threads the bolt will constantly be rotating in the direction that will make it loosen (potentially) when the wheel is moving in forward direction. |

| 4 | Subject: RE: Freehub Removal Overwhelmingly likely that it's standard thread. I can't think of many rear hubs that use anything else, no matter what tools (hex wrench vs spanner) are required. Good luck! |
