What can you say about a 5K? I went. I ran. I went out to breakfast after :)

I had no real expectations other than to end the season feeling good and having fun with friends (it was the comeback from hip surgery for one friend).

It wasn't my PR but it wasn't my worst either. Fun was had by all. And the hat instead of the shirt was a nice touch!

Very cool hat!  Congrats on having a fun race welcoming your friend back to the racing scene!  I gotta confess, though - I keep reading it as Blue Black Mitten run, which makes me think of 'black and blue', as in bruised...dumb brain...
