Wow congratulations!  I haven't lost nearly as much as you but I'm down to 187 from a high of 250 or so lbs.  I have about 15 more pounds to loose and I'll be the weight I really want to be at 5'10''.

I think it is easier when you have more to lose. Or at least seems more impressive with the big numbers. I am about 5'8" and shooting for between 165 and 175. Still not fly weight but based on my frame I think that will be a healthy weight. The tru indicator will be I will switch to body fat % when I get closer to my goal weight. That will determine when/where I stop.

More importantly though congratulations on your loss to date. Very impressive when such a small percentage of people can do it

Congrats on the incredible achievement! I initially lost 70 pounds, slacked off and gained 30 back, lost that, gained another 15 back, and am losing that now. I'm not an expert but I'd be happy to answer any questions that I can.

Executing this full Ironman plan for 17 weeks would give people with one Ironman under their belts very good preparation for a 2nd and 3rd. Preferably, you should have a 6:30 or faster HIM time.

This Intermediate 20 week plan is a quick ramp up in overall volume, but with 20 weeks to train only, it is a gradual and safe approach because of the alternating weeks of the long run/bike.
