Moved to the Fort Riley/Junction City/Manhattan area in September. My current fit is good but have a bit of nagging hamstring pain when I ride so looking to get another fit. There is a shop I can go to in Manhattan to get a fit, but asking if anyone can recommend anyone else. I am willing to travel up to 2 hours

The go-to place most would recommend is Elite Cycle in Leawood (KC area). I think you might be referring to Big Poppie's in Manhattan. I was just in there a few weeks ago. Pretty cool shop, but it doesn't strike me as one that has much expertise with triathlon/TT fitting if that's what you're looking for.

Elite uses the Retul system. I've been fitted there and am quite pleased. I also like Epic Bike and sport in N. Kansas City near the airport. They use Specialized's bodyFit system. I've not had an official fitting there, but I bought my bike there and the owner knows what he's doing.

Thanks guys! I have always wanted to get a Retul bike fit and looks like I will finally get my chance going to Elite Cycles

We are often asked the question, "What size frame should I buy" and the answer is “it depends”. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but hopefully the following will shed some more light.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

The triathletes really inspired me. I watched them in awe as childlike thoughts went through my head like, "I want to do that!" But then reality set in. “Who are you kidding?
