I see a broken shoulder and perhaps arm, broken helmet and hopefully not a broken skull, definately a broken face.   Hope the bike was okay though.

My question is.....What the heck was going on that a cyclist completely flips like that on what appears to be a great road to ride on????

I would throw in a broken collarbone as well.

Someone could have touched his wheel, he could have rolled over something in the road. Its a crit, they were going FAST!

Look at the flesh colored blur that's where the right leg of the rider on the yellow bike might/could be ... that's looks weird, too.

If you click the "Next photo" link below the pictures, you can see the whole progression ... the caption indicates that the rider escaped serious injury ... THAT is amazing.

The picture right before this one says that the leader in yellow got her foot caught in the front wheel.... not sure how that happens, but I'm glad the riders that went down are all ok.  That could've been SO bad...
