 Deep in the Heart of Texas |  Subject: These are a few of my favorite things...or favorite movies. I was thinking about favorite movies and decided that my favorite movies are ones that I will watch over and over. None of the movies on my favorite movie list are critically acclaimed, but I like them. Most of them make me laugh and are perfect for quoting along. This thought was prompted by watching the sing-along version last night of the first movie on the list: Sound of Music Breakfast Club Princess Bride Monty Python and the Holy Grail Life of Brian Coming to America My Cousin Vinny Christmas Vacation Ferris Bueller's Day Off
What do you consider your favorite movies?

My son is nine and it has been great introducing him to what I consider to be the older classics. He also loves Gremlins, Home Alone (we watched Home Alone 3) last night, and Happy Gilmore. I like Breaking Away, the older James Bond movies (pre-Roger Moore) |

I was just talking with my manager who is about my age and she brought up: Back to the Future Great movie - had to ask the 24 year olds on my team if they'd heard of it. thankfully, yes, but not Princess Bride ... sad. |
