Subject: Disc decal review
When my old RennSpeed disc went (the hub simply wore out after many years), I got a new one, a HED Jet Disc. The one thing that I really hated was that I had a nice decal on my old disc and after a year of looking at different ways to get a new one made, I contacted Brian at CarbonWheelDecals. Within a day, I had a proof send to me and within a day of approving that, the decals (as in one for the drive side and one for the non-drive) were already sent to me. Overall, there's absolutely nothing that could be improved, the process was that great!!!

Installation wasn't that difficult at all. Removed the cassette and cleaned the disc with alcohol to make sure I had a clean surface. Started from center and slowly but surely worked my way out towards the edge, using a credit card to push out any air bubbles. All in all, I spent less than an hour for both sides.

And the end result…

And no, I have NOTHING to do with the company except that I'm a very happy customer.

That looks great.

Do you have an opening on the other side for your stem or is there a patch piece?

Open cut on NDS... that way I can pump the tire without reaching around the chain/cassette and potentially get the small specks of grease on me from the chain (somehow, I always manage to do that... even after wrenching for 15+ years...)

Now that is FUNNY! Yep, both in Sweden, but been living in the US for many years... hence the "split flag"

Triathletes are not invincible. Some of us like to think we are, but that is just not true. Anything can happen to us in open water. So why not make sure you are prepared for an emergency?
