She did the Oly last year as her first and absolutely loved it. Its so close to home for us (a half hour drive maybe?) we pretty much have to do it. |

Also, we added a Splash & Dash division to the sprint. The Splash & Dash is a great way to introduce people to multisport events and a great option for people that don't have a bike or are a little skittish about cycling on the roads in a race. |

I'm in full offseason mode, more strength and cardio/cross training, along with SBR. I haven't checked out the Sprint training plans yet, not entirely sure what my first race is going to be. Now that it's spring here though I think I need to - 12 weeks out is mid-June already! |

Will be fun to see all those fit, fast ladies go flying by me all day  Still thinking of doing the sprint as well and make a weekend of it. Only 40 minutes from home, too. |

Having gallbladder surgery tomorrow, and have had my June races nuked due to it (Cohasset spring, Patriot Half). Have felt awful since Feb, and hopefully this will fix things. Will be out of action for a couple weeks, then try to get things going again. may be asking much to make an Oly in 2 months coming off surgery and not having a good base due to illeness and too-long-a-winter broken spirits  Mike |
