SNERKSNORT

I needed that.

Riverside County, CA ... hey, that's where I did plenty of my worst drinking!

Come to think of it, this incident now makes sense. Heh.

Made me laugh out loud. She almost qualifies for the Darwin Awards. By the way, why do homes in Riverside County have fireplaces?

My favorite part was the initial attempt at a rescue with "an extension cord"

I like that the ex-boyfriend tried to get her out, "but it was too hard", and he gave up. I'm betting that by "it was too hard", he means, "I didn't feel like missing football for the sake of trying to get my bat-crazy ex-gf out of my chimney, so I tried for five minutes, then cracked open another beer and went back to the couch."

I would have tried harder then he did.  I would have dumped some lubricant down from the roof.  First some motor oil, then some syrup, maybe some canola oil, then maybe some talcum powder, then some dish soap, then some more motor oil......"hang on dear I think the old fish oil from the fryer will do it!!!".....I just would have tried REALLY hard.

"It took 23 Riverside County firefighters approximately two hours to extract the woman"

Not it didn't . It took 3 to make the rescue, but they had to call all of their coworker friends to bear witness to the ridiculous situation

I couldn't stop laughing when I read that one the other night. I wonder, when she realized that the missing woman was herself, if she hesitated for a moment before telling everyone.
"Umm...guys..you know that missing lady we're all looking for...uh..."
