hey...it looks like there are a number of people from HB...do you want to get together for a workout?
I've been training for about 7 months now...had back surgery (micro disc) about a year and a half ago...doesn't bother nearly as much as I thought it would. Have done a few Tri's...In fact I'm heading up to Half Moon bay this weekend to do the Half Moon Tri.
Anyways, I SUCK at swimming, could definitely go for a group swim...but would be in for a group ride or run as well. Let me know what you 'all think.

Has anybody found a local OC coach that they would recommend? USAT recco'd a coach for me, but they were located in Colorado...I think I would be more comfortable with somebody I could meet with who could observe me first hand for feedback on form and structure

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.

On August 31 I officially became a triathlete. With a big day ahead of me I went to bed early the night before. I woke up at 4:45 am. I was full of energy and ready to go!

This half Ironman plan covers many weeks of challenging, but attainable training for someone who has some endurance experience, and ideally some Olympic distance races within the past season.
