Lisa are all of your walls and ceiling this dark?  Just curious as it seems like it would make my room too dark.

The walls are that dark gray -- ceiling, shelving and trim (and a strip down the middle of a wall where the brick from the fireplace/chimney above) are white, floor is black rubber tiles. If I did it over again I would pick a bit lighter shade of gray.

Keith- what flooring did you use? How is it holding up? My equipment is in a corner of a basement rec room and I have been contemplating new flooring to replace old carpet. I like the look of what you chose.

Thanks!

My living room gym.

Weights and kettlebells are by the yoga mat in the lower right hand corner. Bike is now set up on a trainer next to the treadmill, which I haven't folded up in a while... 40" smart TV... which really needs a speaker or bluetooth headphones for use while on the treadmill. Walls are tan-ish with some orange in there, but I didn't really have a say in that

I really like the gray in ajfoster02's pictures

At first I thought whatever that "garneau" apparatus is was an outboard motor that you must have made into an end table.  I wanted one.

I thought the same thing!

I'm with both of you. I sat there staring at it, going why who you.... But it is so awesome!!! Now to convince the wife we need an outboard motor table for the living room.

It is vinyl plank flooring. Very durable and water/sweat wont hurt it. So far it is holding up great.

Finally finished. Just needs a cleaning, mounting TV and other AV equipment, then ready for equipment move-in this weekend.

Realized I never posted the "finished" pic. Turned out nice I think!

As the fog cleared, the buoy that I first saw earlier in the morning was just the first marker in a very long line of buoys that stretched across the lake like a runway for a 747 jetliner.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
