Subject: athena tri kit question
To all Athena's out there. Please help. I have an athlete that cannot find a comfortable tri kit. All the ones that she has tried on do not provide her enough support in the lower belly area. some short come up high enough just don't have enough compression to make her feel comfortable. Some tri tops do not come down far enough for her comfort level. I'm asking if you have any suggestions. she is 201lbs and about 5'3.

For tri tops, I have found that mens tri tops are longer, and she can sew some snaps on the bottom of the top / top of the shorts so that she can connect them together for full coverage and not have to worry about it riding up (but not as constraining as a one-piece).

Ditto on the men's tri clothing.  I'm a tall Athena, and often times women's shirts are cut shorter for both biking and tri, so I buy men's.  Ditto with shorts - many manufacturers make women's tri shorts, especially, shorter than men's and I like the extra coverage so I, again, buy men's.   Hopefully this helps your athlete.  Another possibility is finding a non-tri compression type shirt, say UA or some similar brand which might provide some of the length and compression she's looking for.
