Subject: Replacement race for GRT
So I am bouncing back and forth on June 14th. Really want to do the 70.3 at grand rapids and rally want to be at the Palace of Auburn Hills that same night. I have plans for August race and July. So any suggestions on what would be a good June race, in the Michigan area that is 70.3?

Oh, I guess Canada would count, I am only 45 minutes from Sarnia and four hours to the falls.

Lumberman in Cadillac is a 70.3 towards the end of June. I haven't participated in it but I've heard good things. Check out the race reviews on this site.

I did the sprint the first year they had that race. It was a good time. But I have not been to it since it has gotten bigger. No fault of the race, I just stopped racing for a few years.

Very good! Wife and kid are happy to go to Cadillac, we are all happy to go see Rush, It's very important to give our youth an education on what real music is

Cadillac is a fun race but a somewhat tough bike course. I found the hills are pretty challenging, especially since the back part of the out and back was into the wind. The run was all flat and around the lake which was cool. Overall, a good race and worth doing.

I decided that, after having a new hip put in 11 months ago, I needed a new lifestyle. Just wondering if there's anything that I should know about-especially for the running and biking.

I don’t currently have a bike, or the funds to acquire one. I have recently gotten into spinning. Is this a good way to train for the biking portion until I can get a real bike?
