When I log my yoga workouts in Garmin Connect, they are listed as "other" since there is no yoga option.  When Garmin data is imported in BT, my yoga workouts come in as swims

I'm sorry for the delay, I was waiting on some clarification from the programmer...   BUT I have a question for you.  Using GC, should this be imported as an 'other' category in BT in the sports section?  Is this how you envision it?  This 'should' be an easy change.

I'm not sure what the correct solution is to this.  I imagine that this is because Garmin used to call swim "other" on the 310XT.  Does it still do that?  If so, there is no good solution.  If not or if most people have moved on to the 910XT/920XT and Garmin reports swims as swims then other should come into BT as sports.  Alternatively, if BT had a way to switch my yoga/swim to yoga, that would be good.

I'm having the same issue. All my 'other' activity type workouts.. which are bootcamp classes that I do most mornings (I use my Garmin to track HR) are all swims as soon as I import them.

Having some kind of 'other' category would be great. I don't need it to be specific.. I just dont want to over inflate my swim time.

Any news on this? I can't even figure out-- once the activity is imported.. how to edit the activity to take it off swim and make it account for something else.. ie spin class or boot camp. I always use the 'other' function on my Garmin 910xt for this. Shows up fine on Garmin connect.. shows up as a swim once imported here.

Same problem here - I use a Forerunner 10 which records everything as a run. I can't work out how / if I can change this to ride once it's been imported into the Training Log.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.
